Property #3: The Perfect View Beach Lot The picture says it all. While both the Breezeway House and the High Dunes House have breathtaking views that will always be there, the Perfect View Beach Lot has, well, the perfect view. It is immediately adjacent to miles of beach and dunes that are forever protected from development.

We've envisioned the small cottage we might build there. It would include the same Design Elements that are present in the other two homes in the compound. Among the design elements that our partially-designed cottage would feature are:

• An orientation to the Southeast, so that the primary view would take in both the sea and the National Wildlife Refuge.
• A layout that is deeper than it is wide, in order best fit the lot and maximize the unobstructed views of the Refuge to the East.
• A bit smaller than the other two houses, it would include two Master Suites, one on the first floor, another on the second.

Part of what's hard for us in offering our beach compound for sale is the difficulty of "letting go" of that daydream.
